Frequently Asked Questions

What are the age requiremnets?

We actually don’t have a specific age requirement to Flyboard, but there is a minimum weight of 65 pounds and maximum of 300 pounds to ensure proper handling in the water, as well as optimal equipment performance.

Where are you located?

We are based in South Florida, and we fly at 3 different spots located only a few minutes from each other in Boca Raton, Delray Beach, and Boynton Beach. All reservations receive a confirmation email with the exact Flyboarding spot for that day, which may change based on the water conditions.

What do I need to bring with me?

A smile and a towel to dry off afterwards. All gear is provided and riders will be required to wear a helmet and a life vest. We do recommend wearing a bathing that you feel comfortable in.

Do I need to be a good swimmer?

No. The life vest will keep you afloat during your entire Flyboarding lesson. You will use the power of the water jets to propel through the surface and up into the air.

Will the Flyboard ever keep me underwater?

Never. You can choose to go underwater by doing a Dolphin dive, but that is entirely up to the rider, and you will never spend more then a second submerged. When falling into the water, your life vest will keep you afloat. The board itself also has a flotation adding additional buoyancy.

Is it hard to learn?

Not at all. We have flown thousands of people from 8 year old kids to adults in their 70’s, but have only had a handful ever who weren’t able to fly. We’re almost 100% sure you will fly high with no problems!

Who controls the Flyboard?

The Flyboard itself is controlled by the rider alone. However, the amount of power supplied to the Flyboard is controlled by the Instructor on the Jet ski, which will dictate how high you can fly. We usually start everyone nice and slow flying around 3-5 ft over the water, and increase the amount of power as the rider improves throughout the lesson, allowing them to fly as high as even 20ft sometimes!

I've seen people doing backflips on videos, can I try it too?

Yes, and no. Although we won’t allow backflip attempts on anyone’s first lesson, we do offer private performance training, where our instructors will teach you how to fly higher and faster, building your confidence and skills to attempt higher level maneuvers.

What is the cancellation Policy?

All cancellations are entitled to a full 100% refund as long as they are made at least 2 days in advance. Cancelations made the day of, or the day prior to a schedule disrupt our schedule causing us to loose business, and therefore will not be refunded.

If we must cancel any lessons due to unfavorable weather, you are able to reschedule your session based on availability, otherwise a full refund will be issued as well.
